This privacy policy applies to the use of our website and any personal data handled by us through email, phone, or social media. Your privacy when using our website or services is important to us. We recognise the trust required to share personal information and take the responsibility of handling this information seriously.   • Transaction data: about the services we have provided for you

We collect this information when you contact us via our website, social media, email, or phone. We may also collect this information via forms or contracts completed online or in person. This information is held to arrange and provide services to you and to collect payment for these services. Copies of emails are kept and held in accordance with this privacy policy. 

Special category data includes potentially sensitive information such as gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religious beliefs, and physical or mental health conditions. This information may be relevant to your reasons for attending therapy and helps us to provide care that meets your needs.

Personal data is stored securely in locked cupboards or on password-protected computers. Any notes which therapists make about sessions are stored separately (and securely) from personal data and do not contain any identifying information. While details of sessions may be shared with other therapists in clinical supervision, no personally identifying information about clients will be shared. 

Data will be held for the duration of your engagement with our services and for a period of 7 years from the end. The need to hold this information will be reviewed periodically. Data is destroyed after this period. You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to request amendments to data if it is inaccurate, or to have your personal data deleted at any time and without giving a reason. You can make these requests by emailing info@considerittherapy.org. Any breach to the security of the data we hold will be reported within 72 hours of the breach. 

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time, and recommend reviewing the policy at regular intervals.
